IN defining ‘Gravity’ as a force of attraction between two objects, both Newton and Einstein, have taken mass and distance between the objects into consideration. Terms like ‘Centre of the Earth’ or ‘Centre of the Mass’ constitute the factor which pulls one object towards the other. When this defines the central point of the theory of gravitation, it is necessary to know before formulating a mathematical base for this theory what this ‘Centre’ means,
The mathematical equation involved in this is a complicated one that covers many parameters, and these parameters collectively form the shadow base to cover up blind beliefs of one and all to a large extent. Centre of the Earth and Centre of the Mass are yet to be linked at observable plains for their geographical explanatory positions.
It is profoundly a wrong conception to believe that massive objects exert greater gravitational force on small objects. If gravity is considered as ‘distortion’ of space-time, then the cause of this distortion defines a ‘position’; whether this space-time-position is what is called the ‘Centre of the Earth’. In a defined ‘curvature’ of space-time, locating a place and calling it the ‘centre of the earth’ gains extra energy which science is yet to discover.
The term ‘Centre of the Earth’ is the epic-base of the ancient literature where every events of the ancient world happened. Versification of this place is seen in most of the ancient texts. Perhaps, Einstein kept this term in his mind before he formulated his theory of gravitation.
