Unesco sees this Caribbean place associated with Spanish and Dutch colonies founded in 1527 A.D. It is located in the coast of Falcón state between two mountain ranges : Sierra de San Luis and the Parque Nacional de los Médanos de Coro.
Traditional mud buildings called bahareque that used ‘mud, timber and bamboo’, with rammed earth ‘tapia’ weaves attraction for scholars, which according to Unesco, blends Spanish Mudéjar tradition.
Name Venezuela stands for Venkatachala of ancient puranic texts which was also known as Venka, the seat of worship of Mokkaswar(Mecca) at Baku at the foot of Mt Imaos. While present Coro identifying its geographical situation between the two mountains, Sierra de San Luis and the Parque Nacional de los Médanos, its ancient counterpart Kuru or Ottorokorrah(of Ptolemy) included both Sierra or the ancient ‘Sri’ or Sheez(of the Avesta), and Medanos or the ancient Median or Madra, or Medea or Medina within its primordial geographical pocket. San, Luis, Parquet, Los, and Nacional collectively provides geographical parameters for identification of the ancient Kuru region as same as ancient Byzantine region that includes Bethany, Luz, Elephantine, and Galilee of the Bible.
Coro’s neighbouring islands are named as Curaçao and Aruba; very interestingly, these two places are identified with Kurkula or Korkola and Rabi of ancient literature.
