Unesco’s findings on the historic site of Antigua and Barbuda are confined to its Naval Dockyard which exhibits a group of Georgian Naval structures built during the struggling colonial era of the Caribbean region in the 18th century.
Lying between the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean, it is a country in the West Indies in the Americas.
Name America has been misunderstood by the scholarly world; this name refers to biblical Amar country, and to Seat of Amareswar of Indian puranas that marks the region of the ancient Koliyan kingdom at Coili or Coli or Kwali. Near this Koliyan royal seat was Europa or the Orbatis of the Greeks from which name Europe has been derived.
Scholars hold the unanimous view that the first inhabitants into the America came from Asia; they put Alaska and the Yukon as the habitation sites of the first inhabitants from at least 50,000 years ago. Scholars also suggest Paleo-Indian migration into the continent; the traditional theory sees Beringia land bridge that stands between the eastern Siberia and Alaska 50, 000 years ago which helped the migrants to cross the continent.
When names of Asia and Paleo-Indian-migrants are used, geographical situations of ‘Asia’ which has been derived from the name ‘Assien’ or ‘Accesine’ was forgotten; name India which refers to the river Indus similarly was not taken into consideration. Alaska, as same as ancient Alaka, and Yukon, as same as Arkon/Uruk, both remained absent in the vocabulary of scholarly debates.
When the case of second migration was suggested for the continents, origin of Na-Dene people’s ancient identity was not studied properly. The latter was connected with the combined family of Athabaskan, Eyak, Tlingit, Tlina, and Haida languages who find certain common linguistic bond with Yeniseian languages. Scholars always try to link one social groups with the other to bring a coordinated link among them but miss the thread when no single geographical basket is found. Whether it is Dorset culture or ancestors of Inuit, or the Thule or the Viking people, the seat of Uruk or the Ark region of the ancient world and place-names found there are lined up with the second-homes of the migrants.
Most of the indigenous people who succeeded to migrate from their ancient homelands after the great disaster mostly came from the royal stocks and learned groups. More civilised groups made successful arrangements of their migration with a planned manner that now find them in different parts of the globe with names of their second homes. Those who failed to succeed to reach a good and habitable destination with advantageous geographical surroundings led a different life.
Antigua was first settled by Amerindians to whom scholars know as Ciboney; the two islands Antigua finds its origin in one of the names like: Ananta/Anantabhoga/Ananta-jina/or Tigiria or Tagara or Antardyoya. These names define themselves within a compact geographical region along with Barbuda whose origin can be traced in ‘Prabudha’ or may be in Bhadabhadara(name of a Lucky Bird)/Badabadia means ‘Ancestors’. It may also be seen in Bhaddiya/Badara-tittha/Badaguna/Bharadvaja. These names give a clear geographical picture along with the names of the associated islands: Great Bird(Eagle), Guinas(Gunia), Long Maidn(Madranga), York Island(Arka) and Redonda(Radha/Rohita) etc. Collectively all these places find their ancient locations neighbourly to each other near Arka or Uruk or York. The historic town of Cordington which is associated with Barbuda marks the ancient Chodaganga, name of the seat of the Choda(also Chedi) kings on the bank of the river Ganges(Gaga/ Georgica). Cibony is linked to either Chyaban, name of a minor Prophet of the Bible as well as name of a Sage in Indian puranic traditions who is linked to Bharadvaja clan or with the Erbana and Ebony( name of a black wood). It is incorrect to see Cibony people as belonging to Stone Age; Arawak people were as same as the Ariya(ariya-ksheta-yodha) or people of Arka region who were mostly considered as missionary soldiers of the ancient world. Carib similarly are identified as Kaber or the region of Kavi (also Kolab)people near ports of ancient Adulis and Barygaza. Arawaks people knowing Antigua as Wadali seems to have been linked with this name of Adulis.
