According to Unesco, ‘The long and highly productive tradition of research at these sites has had a significant influence on the understanding of the Upper Palaeolithic in Europe…..Caves and Ice Age Art in the Swabian Jura provides an exceptional testimony to the culture of the first modern humans to settle in Europe. …. The art objects are among the oldest yet to be found in the world and the musical instruments are the oldest that have been found to date worldwide…..The property includes sufficient consideration of the setting of the caves in relation to the topography and vegetation of the Lone and Ach valleys, including the limestone cliffs, valley floors and adjacent uplands’.
Scholars, as if it seems, have not heard of or have not come across such types cave arts elsewhere in the world. This type of statements have divided the academic studies in thousand ways which refused to meet at certain point of truth so that humanity can see its root and visualise its future.
Unesco says that ‘Modern humans first arrived in Europe 43,000 years ago during the last ice age. One of the areas where they took up residence was the Swabian Jura in southern Germany. Here, ancient peoples lived in and among a series of caves which are now archaeological sites. Excavated from the 1860s up to the present day, these six caves have revealed a long record of human presence, including both anatomically modern humans and Neanderthals before that. The focus of this property are the caves with Aurignacian layers which date from 43,000 to 33,000 years ago. Among the items found at these sites are carved figurines, musical instruments and items of personal adornment. The figurines depict species of animals who lived in that ice age environment – cave lions, mammoths, birds, horses, bovids and fish. Other figurines depict creatures that are half animal, half human and there is one statuette of a woman…’.
These six sites are located in Lone and Ach Valley regions; and it is necessary to know the historical identity of these two places. While Lone stands for Luna Valley on the bank of the River Dio representing the Dido’ Palace and the Lavana island, Arh Valley marks the Arch-kshetra or the City of Sun which is also as same as the Holy See; The six caves’ ancient geographical link will help in identifying the original hometowns of the migrants who arrived and settled there for some times.
Bocksteinhohle : or Bock-stein–hohle in Lone Valley refers to ancient Baku which is associated with Makka or Mecca. This identifies the Baktrians and the migrants who first settled in this cave for some times before they migrated to some other place. Hohle should be seen along with other words for its meaning and origin; ohala, olhana, olhaiba, hilari, huluhula, and hulha etc. It matches with Hillari or Hillar of the Greeks which means ‘leaving someone’s image’ in a place.
Geissenklosterle : in Ach Valley ; scholars claim this site as the site of European Upper Paleolithic period. It is located near Blaubeuren town in Swabian Jura in Baden-Wurttemberg. It was first archaeologically explored in 1963. Scholars claim that the cave contains sediments that were divided into six levels belonging to the Aurignacian(43,000 and 32,000 years ago) and seven levels of the Gravettian. Levels below are accredited to the Middle paleolithic and those on the top reach from the Western European Magdalenian(between 17,000 and 12,000 years ago) to the Middle Ages.
Geissenklosterle or Geissen-klosterle marks the land of Goshen in Kosala where Swabian or the land of Sabaeans( of the Quran) and Saba of Indian puranas on the bank of the river Indus then existed.
Hohle-Fels : in Ach valley ; The cave is just outside the town of Schelklingen(or Schel-klingen) in the state of Baden-Wurttenberg near Ulm. Fels pinpoints Bel town of ancient literature. Schel-klingen marks Kling island near Sakala; it is as same as the Kuling or Kalings of ancient texts which then stood on the bank of the river Dio or Daya/Indus.
Hohlenstein-stadel : in Lone Valley ; This cave is located in the Hohlestein cliff at the southern rim of Lonetal. An ivory statue has been recovered from ths ite which was called Lowenmensch. Scholars find the name of the cliff derived from a combination of Hohlen-stein meaning “hollow rock” and Stadel meaning “barn”. The other two caves are Die kleine Scheuer (Small barn) and the Bärenhöhle(Bears’ cave). The interesting part of the finding is that the statue is called Lowen-mensch; here Lowen is as same as Lavan, and –mensch seems to mean mukha means ‘face’.
Sirgensteinhohle : in Ach Valley ; Sirgensteinhohle is Sirgen-stein-hohle which refers to Sri-ranga or Sri-Ganga near Arch-kshetra; rock’s southern face here is called Abri means ‘Abhira’ or ‘bru’ people of the ancient world. Magdalene identifies the Mriga or the Deer Park of ancient history.
Vogelherd Cave : in Lone Valley ; Vogelherd which identifies ‘Vogel’ and ‘Vergil’ is a popular name, and also a title. It marks the land of the Bagha/Bhrugu on the bank of the river Bagha or the Tigris..
