Greek Culture Ministry announced that five additional vessels in the Aegean Sea region where wrecks of ships happened in fourth century B.C have been discovered off the coast of the Fourni Islands, bringing the total number of ships found there to 58. The area anciently, as this source says, was known in shipping history for its treacherous water zone.
Aegean Sea is well reflected in history of Alexander’s Indian invasion account as belonging to Mt Caucasus region; and it is exactly the same as Erythraean Sea. How Greek Culture Ministry claims it now under the waters of the present Greece is a wonder; ancient Greece is never represented by its present counterpart.
