Texas’s Gault archaeological site which contains Clovis artifacts are thought to have been made by the earliest Americans some 13,000 years ago. Archaeologist Tom Willliams of Texas State University’s claims has no historic base at all. In recent times some scholars are trying to go deep into America’s earliest pre-historic period with a common word ‘hunter-gatherers’ to bring America’s past at par with other nation’s ancient history. This nationalistic attempt strikes at the very root of the history of human civilization. America should been considered as the ‘third settlement’ of the ancient migrants after Australia and Africa.
