Essenes pinpoints the God Essenes, or Issan and the ‘North-East’ direction where relics of the ancestors are worshipped. This exactly marks the name of a place where relics of most of the ancient Sages and Prophets, and Prophetess are from the time immemorial are worshipped. Place where relics of Sri Krishna was being by Jara-Sabara falls in this region like the place of the relics of Raphael at Raphael Tomb, and also the place of relics-worship of Abraham, and many others. Essenes thus marks the religious fair on the bank of the river Baitarani where in the memory of the ancestors foods are offered in a particular time of the year. This place, and its God are not identified with a particular tribe; and God Essenes never generates a religion of its own, but essentially becomes a part of a long established tradition to remember the ancestors of human race itself. This God is one of the Eight Gods, or Eight Ogdoad of the whole of the ‘inhabited world’.
Pharisees were descendants of Sage Parsum, or Parsu-rama; later literature calls them Persians. Parsu-rama, perhaps, was the ‘first man’ who invented the weapon ‘parsu’ made out of iron, to provided protection to humans from their enemies. He killed Sahasra-Arjuna( an Arjuneyya King) by this weapon. He cut off his hundred hands by this ‘parsu’, a type of portable wood-cutter’s arm in the shape of an arch. The interesting side of the nativity of this Sage is linked to his father Jamad-Agni, and mother Renuks(of Anu or On clan). It would be seen from the facts associated with life of this 6th Avatara God of Indian puranic tradition, that, he was, though against the then ruler who perpetuated inhuman attitudes towards their peoples, never represented a religion. There is a time-link between Rama of the epic the Ramayana, and Parsu-rama. The latter precedes the former. The change of from ‘parsu’ to ‘bow’ is observed here.
Sadducees are considered as ‘Sons of Zadok’ by biblical Commentators. But in reality they formed a group by themselves who were drawn from various different clans and from different regions in pursuit of different ways in search of god. They normally leave their houses and flock at the seat of worship of gods. They do not stick to a particular place as their residence or never align their faith to a particular god also. They visit all people, and all places to collect their foods. It is wrong to identify Sadducees with a particular religion.
Biblical Commentators see Essenes as ‘Pure’, Pharisees as ‘Separated’ and Sadducees as Jews. Paul identified himself with Pharisees. These three collectively constitute the ‘faith’ in Judaism.
