Palaeontologists Ansuya Bhandari from Birbal Sahni  Institute, Lucknow, and Sunil Bajpai, IIT, Roorkee, unearthed a fossilized upper jaw(maxilla) in the Kutch basin of Gujarat, which they claim, belonged to an adult ape(hominoid family) of the Sivapithecus and lived about 11-10.8 million years ago(Miocene).

Scholars’ should see modern Gujarat’s ancient identity before they talk of its fossilized ape’s habitation in the Kutch basin 11 million years’ ago. Do they know how this Kutch is related to history of human civilization? Do they know how Dwaraka is related to ancient Cambodia? How Somanath Temple is anciently related to ancient world?

History of human civilization seems to be completely unsafe in the hands of palaeontologists and archaeologists who look into the story of human civilization through fragments of rocks only. Fossil study has gone on a wrong way all these times, and academic scholarship has been misled by X-ray CT Scans of the unearthed fossils.
