Danit Levy of the Israel Antiquities Authority says a 2,000-year-old Aramaic inscription written in Hebrew unearthed near the Jerusalem International Convention Centre that reads ‘Hananiah son of Dodalos of Jerusalem’, It is scholars claim that this Inscription belongs to 1st Century.
Israel Antique Authority wants to dispel doubts from scholars outside Israel that the present Israel is the ‘ancient Israel’, whose biblical name was Shalem. If we look at the present inscription, we see names like, Hananiah, Dodalos, Aramic, and Jerusalem; and scholars add Shalem to it.
In reality, ancient history of the land of Israelites was never recognised with so many ‘names’. Jerusalem is a coined word for two names : Jeru and Salem. Jeru refers to Zered or Mt Zarudhira; Salem refers to ‘ladder’; and Hananiah identifies people of Han or On tribes which is again the same as Anu tribe. Dodalos refers to Dodo or the country of ancient Darad or Darddura; both names are found in ancient texts.
Present Israel is the ‘second settlement’ of a group of people who migrated there and raised their homes there in the name of holy ‘Is-Rael’ that is indicative of the name of ‘Iswara Rahul’, or God Rahul, which again refers to Rachel’s Tomb that contains relics of Rahul.
