Archaeologist Shaun Sullivan claims that excavation in the Long Bay Hills area of the island of Providenciales(Cockburn town, Turks and Caicos) contains archaeological proof of a Lucayan settlement that finds remains of shellfish, turtles, and possibly iguanas and hutia, and a rodent-like creature. This is how the ancient world gets reflected through excavation works. Turks and Caicus Weekly News report was quoted by Arch News on 5.11.2018.
It is more interesting when Archaeologists claim that Lucayans traded with peoples living on the islands of Hispaniola and Cuba.
Lucayan identifies Homeric Lemnos or Lanka which was the last port of call and marks the cupola of the earth. Both Hispania and Lanka were neighbourly to each other and Caicos identifies Mt Caucasus. How can a scholar claim like this through present day Turkey?
