There prevails a wrong view in the world of biblical scholarship that Moses could not arrive at Canaan; this is a serious mistake, and needs to be changed immediately.
Moab is the land which is identified with the land of honey or ‘madhu’. Indian puranas knows biblical Moab as ‘Madhuvana’. Vergil’s description of ‘bees’ and pinpointing the areas of production of honey coincides with this puranic Madhu-vana, whose epic description in the Mahabharata marks it as a place of sufficient production of milk. This land is a part of the land of the sun-worshippers where Moses reached with his followers.
Hebrew msh has been restored as Moses, and this restoration is again wrong. Its real meaning is mukhia or mukshya of Odiay language which means ‘Leader’; the ‘Leader’ leads his people on the path of ‘mokshya’ means ‘Salvation’.
So Moses or msh has done his work perfectly by making his people reached the holy land of Canaan.
