World Heritage Site of Cesky Kurmlov identifies ancient Kamrupa which is as same as the biblical Qumran; it is Kurumbha of Pali literature near which was the Kaka or Keka country at the foot of the Mt Caucasus. Cesky is identical with Sakya and the latter defines the geographical situation of the Sakyan country. River Vltava marks the Vitasta river of ancient texts; It was Hydasepes of the Alexander’s historians to which Indian puranas knew as Drusad-vati. Hrádek has been derived from this name. It also identifies a ‘hrada’ or a water deposit means the ‘lake’. Vitasta is again the same as Baitarani of the ancient literature.
It is Kurum of the Vedas; and Ptolemy knows it as Koram; It is also called Kamah river ; it joins the Indus river near Isakhel.
Meaning as well as geographical situation linked with the name ‘Meander’ has been misunderstood by the academic world; River Meander refers to the kIng Meander same as Milinda and as same as the primordial King Manadhata. It was a river in the ancient Kalinga and Strabo’s writing on ths river to the Kingdom of Milinda which became Alsanda of the later texts. Greek Maindros and Latin Maender which identifies Izmer on the south and Miletus on the east and the region of Graben, pinpoints the ancient Tihula which later historians took it as Turkey.
According to Unesco, ‘The town of Český Krumlov is located in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. Situated on both banks of the Vltava (Moldau) river, the town was built below a magnificent castle founded in the 13th century. The river meander and rocky slopes of the castle hill are the most important elements which along with the link to the picturesque neighbouring landscape, determine not only the impressive urban composition of the historic centre but the dominating position of the castle as well’.
Name Czechia identifies itself with ancient Cze(or Sheez of the Avesta)-chia or Sri-kshetra of other ancient texts. It was a place on the neighbourhood of Kamrupa or Krumlov.
