Unesco claims that Verzer Valley which is located in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region of the Dordogne is a Prehistoric heritage site ‘that bears witness to a strong Paleolithic occupation: decorated caves, funerary places, workshops, exploitation areas for raw materials, habitats, hunting scenes…. from 400 000 to 10 000 years…’. Unesco again observes that, ‘The objects and the works of art found in the Vézère Valley are extremely rare witnesses of long extinct civilizations, which are very difficult to understand. This material, invaluable to the knowledge of the most distant periods of the history of humankind, …’.
Vezere identifies Vajra, weapon of Indra, King of Heaven, also known as the The Thunder God; it was name of a place, and some ancient royal houses have adopted it as a royal title. Vajra marks the ‘Seat of Enlightenment of the Buddha’ . It is vacca of the Asokan Rock Edicts. It marks a ‘bird’ in this name which is called Vajra Kapota. There was a monastery in the name of Kapota in the region of Mt Caucasus then.
At Unesco heritage site, name Vezere Valley is linked to Dordogne River near Le Bugue, and the tributary of the Vezere is called Correze River. Dordogne /or Dordo-gne represents the ancient Darda country which is as same as Danaans of Homer’s epics. It identifies ancient Troy in the Bagha or the Le Bague region. People of Toya were called Toyak and this identifiesTayac of the heritage site linked to the Cro-Magnon shelter. Toya of Indian puranic traditions finds its geographical relationship with Cro means ‘Koa’ bird and the river Koa; Magno refers to ancient Mangala country and people of Mangala.
Madeleine and Magdalenian were two different types of people at two different regions of the ancient world; the former refers to people living in Madra or Medea as same as Medina. But the Magdalenian people were called in one name ‘Sundar’ means ‘beautiful’ and this is exactly mean Seudre of the heritage site at Mornac-sur-Seudre. Sidura of the epic Gilgamesh is considered as a god and Indian tradition takes Sudra as a social group. It is completely wrong to take Magdalenian time as Age of Reindeer as the name Magdale is a biblical name which identifies the ‘Mriga-sthala’ means the ‘Deer Park’ of the ancient times where Arhats or the very ‘Enlightened Monks were living. It was the place near which the Buddha preached his ‘First Sermon’. It is again incorrect to assign the Magdalenian epoch a time period of about 10,000 B.C. as they were very much there during the 6th c B.C.
Chateau fort du Petit Marzac is another interesting name; name Petit is also linked to one of the building inside the royal Palace of Versailles. Chateau refers to the chaitya at the Petit or the Tree of Wisdom in Marzac; Marzac and Amazon are one and the same and both of them mean ‘Magians’ which identifies the priest class people of the ancient time. it was name of the Magian(Meghas/Magis/Megis) settlement near ‘sur’ as same as the City of Surya or the ‘Sun’. Scholars are of the opinion that the heritage site at Petit Marzac was built during 8th c A.D. in the Vezere Valley; Plateau de Millevaches in Limousin is another site that reminds the Mallava/Malla country near Lomesh( also name of a Sage) region; and the latter identifies the ancient Ros as well as the Mesh region and both of them were neighbouring to each other on the bank of the river Ullay/Ulla. The three departments of French; Correze, Creuse and Haut-Vienne are identified with ancient Kuru, Kusha, and Atharvan region respectively. It is failure of academic scholarship to connect the Chancelade Men to homo-sapiens groups and see them to have appeared on earth about 10,000 B.C; chan people carried a unique ancient identity with them. Historians found them as people of ancient Chin country belonging to Han dynasty. Biblical Shechem is intimately connected with this region; Chanselade refers to ancient Kanshilo to which Indian puranas knew as Kailash. It is Chryse of Homer’s epics.
