This heritage site of Chaine des Puys-Li(/u)magne is situated in the Auvergne-Rhone-Alps Region at the centre of France; it is a site that gives an account of the academic ignorance of the ancient world which is no more before the scholars to study its physical features;
Scholars speaking loudly on imaginary time frame of earth’s geological make-ups at different world forums show decadence of academic scholarship and stretching ancient history of human civilization to an undefined plain of reference misleads every branch of academic circle. Shamelessly built up theories on collision of tectonic plates in earth’s crust is as dangerous as to say that Alps were formed some 35 million years ago.
Meaning of ‘Puy’ in French is ‘a volcanic mountain with rounded profile’. A date of 4040 B.C. is blindly accepted as the date for the last eruption of this so called volcano in Chaine des Puys. Scientists claim that the chain began to form approximately 95,000 years ago, and the volcanic activity stopped about 10,000 years ago.
While throwing such meaning of Puys, scholars did not think of Puy in Myanmar, which is another heritage site of Unesco of three ancient cities: ‘Halin, Beikhano, and Sri Ksetra located in the …dry zone of the Ayeyanwady (Irrawaddy) River basin’. It is wrong to put two meanings for one place-name. Even there is no difference in meaning of both Ayeyan-wady in Myanmar and Auver-gne in France.
Unesco’s observations on the two sites differ largely; on Chaine des Puys it says, ‘The Chaîne des Puys – Limagne fault tectonic arena, .., is an emblematic segment of the West European Rift, created in the aftermath of the formation of the Alps 35 million years ago. …. The boundaries of the property were drawn up to include geological features and landscapes which characterise the tectono-volcanic assemblage and include the long Limagne fault, the scenic alignment of the Chaîne des Puys volcanoes, and the inverted relief of the Montagne de la Serre. Together these demonstrate how the continental crust cracks, then collapses, allowing deep magma to rise, causing widespread uplift at the surface….’.
Meaning of Chaine when scholars took as the present day China, then this plate tectonic theory was advanced. Simultaneously, academic scholarship do not consider modern Europe as the second settlement of ancient migrants; ‘continental drift, manifested through plate tectonics, is an essential paradigm for the history of the Earth as it explains the current make-up of oceans and continents and their past and future movements. The property is an exceptional illustration of the phenomenon of continental break-up, or rifting, which is one of the five major stages of plate tectonics. The Chaîne des Puys – Limagne fault tectonic arena presents a coincident view of all the representative processes of continental break-up and reveals their intrinsic links. The geological formations of the property, and their specific layout, illustrate with clarity this planet-wide process and its effects on a large and small scale on the landscape….’, Unesco says.
This chain of mountainous area that covers more than 40 km long(north to south 160 km), scholars say, contains 48 cinder cones, eight lava domes, and 15 maars and explosion craters in the Massif Central of France. Another study says the area contains 450 extinct volcanoes and Chaine des Puys contains 115.
The information on the ancient world from where the migrants to France came are well preserved in the names surrounding the whole of the Chaine des Puys region. Who named various places and the craters of this region?
These mountains met the purpose of lighting the whole area by putting fire./ire-elements at the top of the mountains; this provides the bulk of reasons why the craters are being named that describe the story linked with the Buddha whose Place of Enlightenment happened to be at the Mount Vache means Mount Vajra at Puri means Puy. This word vache can be seen in some of the Asokan Rock Edicts. That is the also the reason why the term ‘la’ is being used before Vache unlike other places.
Chaine des Puys has preserved Puy de Dome, Puy de Pariou, Puy de Lassolas, and Puy de la Vache craters at the top of its mountains; and Mont Dore contains Puy de Sancy and Puy Mary; Temple of God Mercury in this region throws much light on the religious characteristic of the migrants living around this mountainous region. it reflects on migrants’ homeland very clearly.
Scholars say that Puy de la Vache along with Puy de Lassolas forms a ‘group’ of volcanic craters; they together form two half craters. Their lava flows creating several lakes by crossing valleys, including Lake Cassiere to the north and Lake Avdat to the south in the Verve Valley. Different historic names connected with the Temple at Puri shows the clock-time of human history; avdat is one such word which has immense importance for present day world and its faith-spectrum.
Avdat is as same as Advaita or Adyita means ‘believing in ‘One’ and no dvaita or dual feeling; inscriptions on the body of Sri Jagannath Temple at Puri carries one Advaita Inscriptions which shows that was a clan in this name in ancient times; And this Advaita group of people were then called the Israelites. Shankarachrya of Puri advocates this philosophical line of thought.
Similarly, Cassiere is another name whose weight today cannot be belittled by any account; it is Caesarea, the royal seat of Rome, and Kesuria of Indian puranas on whose jurisdiction the temple then stood.
