Wies world heritage site of Germany is located in the foothills of the Alps in the municipality of Stengaden in the Weilheim-Schongau district, Bavaria, Germany.
According to Unesco, ‘A wooden chapel constructed in the fields housed the miraculous statue for some time. However, pilgrims from Germany, Austria, Bohemia, and even Italy became so numerous that the Abbot of the Premonstratensians of Steingaden decided to construct a splendid sanctuary. Consequently, work began in 1745 under the direction of the celebrated architect, Dominikus Zimmermann, who was to construct, in this pastoral setting in the foothills of the Alps, one of the most polished creations of Bavarian Rococo. The choir was consecrated in 1749, and the remainder of the church finished by 1754’.
Understanding the meaning of Wei and tracing its geographical situation and its historical pluralities will help to unravel the truth of unity of all ancient tribes in one single geographical pocket. It can be seen also through Wutu-Sulla-Tanya inscriptions found in different countries.
In most of the ancient texts, terms like Io, Ai, Yu, Wi, Wei, Wu, Rai, and Ui appear which identify certain ancient tribes in these names as well as some royal houses with them. Names like Ayila, Ari-lo, Olo, Al or El, Lo or Loi are most significantly pinpoint seat of god and goddess,
Io was priestess at the shrine of Hera at Herat and her father was Inachus, name of a river-god. Epaphus was son of Io and he was a native of ancient Og island; he is also identified with a place-name like ‘Paphos’ which bears her history. Io’s story is linked to All-seeing Argus who had eyes all over his body like Agi(or Agni or the ‘Fire’ God) of Indian puranic traditions. Relation between Hera and Zeus has been weaved in historical narratives in one way or the other and this needs only geographical treatment to trace the origin of their story, and reality of their historical existence on earth. Zeus seduced Hera first in the form of a cuckoo, Leda in the form of a Swan, and Europa in the form of a Cow; in the original texts name of peacock, swan, and cow were not found. These are translated names of Mayura, Sandha/Maisi and Gaii. These names identify human settlements, tribes, titles, and birds and animals and jointly they hold the complete history of some royal houses also. On English translation of their names, history connected with these names lost their geographical essence and inherited continuity of historical unity of ancient tribes disappeared. History of Maori chiefs, as historians see with this heritage site, is linked with Mayura, means the Peacock.
Yu, Wi, Wei, Wu, and Ui are symbolically stand behind an ancient tribe and their settlements. Biblical Ai identifies a settlement in Ephraim and near Gibon and Bethel. Some historians find it as same as ‘tell’; the latter is name of a ‘tribe’ and also name of a ‘settlement’. Identifying biblical Benjamin as Bhagini or Bhoj of Indian puranas throws much light on the geographical origin of both Ephraim and Paphos.
‘Yu’ as Yu-chi and ‘Ui’ as Ui-ghar and Wei as Wutu connects the Achaeans of Homer’s epics with Chin and Agni people of ancient world who were then dwellers near the volcano region at the foot of Mt Caucasus.
Wei anciently identified the Chinese people who were also known by the name of Ts’in, and their city was at Thinae called in the name of This; city of Hien-yang later known as Si-gnau-fu on the bank of the river Wei whose confluence was with Hoang-ho(Ganges) in the province of Shen-si or Shan-xi or Shanchi is another way to identify this place which was then associated with Chin or Chann people. The Chou Dynasty ruled from 867 to 255 B.C and was troubled by the Tartar tribes in the west; Wei, Han, Chau, Ts’i and Ch’u states were all neighbourly to each other. Yu-tau is restored as Udra and U-cha again means Udra; in the Map of Eratosthenes, name of Erdkarte des is seen, and this name is exactly the same as Udra or Odra; Indian puranas mention Hi and Hu peoples who were inhabitants of Hari varsha or Haya country. Inscriptions of Wutu, Sulla and Tanya(or Tanais) mark them as neighbours near ancient Jerusalem
