This unique heritage site of Germany tells the story of the Bible’s real geographical situations through ancient migrants’ memory that is linked with St Mary’s Cathedral and with St Michael’s Church at Hil-desh-heim.
According to Unesco, ‘The bronze doors of St Mary, dating back to 1015, represent the events from the book of Genesis and the life of Christ, and the bronze column of St Michael dating from around 1020, with its spiral decor inspired by Trajan’s Column, depicts scenes from the New Testament’. Bernward, Bishop of Hildesheim, built St Michael’s Church in Hildesheim between 1010 and 1022.
According to the Bible, Michael was Prince of Israel and also the Archangel of Israel; Michael buried the dead body of Moses and this he could do by the help of Messiah and after the enthronement of the Lamb. Hebr word for Michael here is saba gadol.
Name of Michael identifies her with Goddess Kali of Indian puranas and SHE is one of the Ten Tantric Goddesses who puts a garlands of skulls in her neck and stands on a ‘dead body’(saba gadol of the Hebrew). Prayer to Saint Michael marks HER presence as the guardian deity of the ‘Land of the Dead’, and this is Jerusalem itself. Hade of Homeric epics and Jerusalem of the Bibles marks the Land of the Dead or Seat of Worship of Jama, the God of Death.
Prayer to Saint Michael is misunderstood by scholars and so also the meaning of ‘Novena’ means or ‘Naba-ratri’ means ‘Nine-Nights’; the Goddess along with nine others are worshipped in a tantric way and also in a particular month of the year for ‘nine consecutive days and nights’. Translation of ‘Te Splendor et virtus Patri’ and Carmina Gadelica collected by Alexander Carmichael needs to be studied again by scholars. The latter is a tantric text and its lines are more important like its tantric pictures to understand the ancient world. Below are given few lines of Carmina Gadelica which are indicative of the place-names but their translations do not indicate them as places.
‘Thainig Peadail ’s thainig Pol,
Thainig Seumas ’s thainig Eoin,
Thainig Muiril is Muir Oigh,
Thainig Uiril uile chorr,
Thainig Airil aill nan og,
Thainig Gabriel fadh na h-Oigh,
Thainig Raphail flath nan seod,
’S thainig Micheal mil air sloigh,
Thainig ’s Iosa Criosda ciuin,
Thainig ’s Spiorad fior an iuil,
Thainig ’s Righ nan righ air’.
This speaks the truth that ancient migrants have taken with them a large number of books and inscriptions when they left their homelands due to volcanic eruption and flood. Europe as home of the ancient rich, prosperous, and highly developed skilled migrants who accompanied their royal house peoples is not an exaggerated statement.
Archangel’s root is in ‘arche’ as same as the Achaeans of Homer’s epics who were the Agni tribe people of the ancient world; and they belonged to the House of Bhratu–khanda(marks Ephorate and Euphrates/ Virtus Patri’ etc)region where then existed the biblical volcano. They discovered the ‘Fire’ ; Maa Kali or Mi-chael belongs to this Agni tribe. So she is addressed in Carmina Gadelica as Filium Dei(Goddess Bariah of El-country), Simulique Filio(Daughter of Salmali island), Principem Agni thoron(Visuvius Agni means the ‘Volcano site),….Deus meus(River Daya bank), Adorabo ad templum sanctum tuum, et confitebor nomini tuo, Oremus refers to the temple at Adorabo or the ‘Meeting Point of Three Rivers’ at Shechem.
Gabriel and Raphel are her two important companions and they represent two place-names; but SHE had an army of naked women who prey on bloods of sinners; root of ‘Tobit’ is in Tribeni or Mt Tab/Tabia that identifies it with Triffeni and Tibet, meeting point of three sacred rivers. It marks the most important bathing place of the ‘inhabited world’. Only Michael is called the archangel in the Bible and none else. Novenas is celebrated on September 29 and this is the day and month of naba-ratri for the Dasa Mahavidya or Ten Tantric Goddesses of Indian tantric traditions including Maa Kali . Seraph identifies ‘Sarpa/Sapa’ means Snake’; it pinpoints the Serpent Plain or the Negev.
Prayer for the Goddess Kali, the ‘First Goddess’ of the Dasa Mahavidya(Ten Goddesses of the Tantra starts with ‘saba-rudha’ means ‘standing on the ‘saba’ means the dead’(saba gadol of Hebr) :
Saba-rudham mahabhima ghoradrastam barapradama
Hasyajuktam trinetrancha kapala kartukadharam
Muktakesi lolojihvam pibanti rudhira muhuh
Chaturbahujuktam devim barabhayakaram smaret.
‘Standing on the dead body with immense power SHE who sees the whole world, pours HER blessings; hurls laughter, this three-eyed goddess with garlanding skulls of dead bodies, with HER hair open, and with HER tongue tossing, drinks blood every moment; with HER four-hands goddess who saves HER devotees, assures them safety, I pray HER’.
One biblical prayer reads:
Per intercessionem beati Michaelis Archangeli, stantis a dextris altaris incensi, et omnium electorum suorum, incensum istud dignetur Dominus benedicere, et in odorem suavitatis accipere. Per Christum Dominum nostrum. Amen (Through the intercession of Blessed Michael the Archangel, standing at the right hand of the altar of incense, and of all his elect, may the Lord kindly bless this incense and accept it as a savour of sweetness)
In biblical concept of mystery, goddesses are involved like Indian puranic traditions; Eve was tempted by Gadree; the chief evil is Azazel; these names identify place-names. Michael’s triumph is seen along with enthronement of the Lamb; and the latter identifies the Sakyan(Sanctum) royal house.
Michael or Maa Kali should not be seen as ‘Guardian of Israel’ or the Prince of Israel alone; SHE is the Goddess of the whole of the ‘inhabited world’.
Maya of the Bible is identical with Maha Maya of Indian tantric texts; SHE is the Guardian Goddess who saves the ‘Virtuous’.
Boblical Mary belongs to the royal house of Moeris; when it is said that she was a Galilean Jewish living in Nazareth then the three names, Nazareth, Galilee and Jewish should be explained carefully so that name Moeris can be understood geographically along with the other three names.
Mary was a ‘Virgin’; it is another word which means ‘Bhagini’ means ‘Sister’. Whose sister she was needs to be understood in the context of the prevailing religious situations during the biblical time. Mary’s relationship with Joseph marks a continuing tradition and this tradition is linked with Bethlehem and thus with the whole of the ‘inhabited world’ itself. Gabriel arrived who informed Mary of the future birth of Jesus which is biblically called ‘annunciation’; its root is in ‘anaka’ means ‘bell’. Gabriel sounded the Bell so that people can come together to listen what important announcement she had to make for public benefits.
Scholars take Mary as an Aramaic name whose original name is found to have been linked with name of Maryam or Moriam; New Testament’s Mapia and Mapiau are again seen to have retained some sort of historical relationship with Mary, Mother of Jesus. Mother of God in biblical sense refers to Mother of Jesus and this meaning is explained through Greek Theotokos means ‘God-bearer’, scholars say. Maryam or Morian certainly which is as same as Mauryas of ancient history literally is connected with the word maryada means ‘an outstanding social position of respect and revered royal status’. Greek Mapia and Mapiau refer to this word maryada and mukhia which are connected with Theotokos means ‘Thatakas’/ ‘Theri of Takk’, a royal designated procession. But scholars see its meaning through Latin Dei Para and Dei Genetrix; it is very interesting to connect Mater Dei which is as same as Maa Magna and Maa Didymos(Demeter/Didyma) with Dei Para and Dei Genetrix. Meaning of Dei always identify a woman enjoying the status of a ‘goddess’; Para, Gene-trix and Mater are connected with ‘Bara’ or “Var’ , ‘Zion’ or ‘Jina’ and Maa or Mother. All these royal ‘titles’ which are explained through ancient literature pinpoint a particular royal house in a particular geographical setup; Aei-Parthenos identifies this defined region in a very curios way.
Islamic literature is not different in tone when it speaks of Mary with certain revered terms/titles like, Savvidatuna(‘our lady’), sayyiduna((‘our lord’), Siddiqah(‘she who confirms the truth’), Qānitah(‘constant submission to God’) and Tahira(‘one who has been purified’). These ‘titles’ identify themselves in various ways and are not difficult to see their meanings.
Sav—means ‘all’/Every body
Vidhata—means ‘God’
Vidhu—means ‘Chandra’ or Moon/Crescent/Scamander.
Savvidatuna—Sav-vidatuna/Sav–bidhata/Sabitru(of the epic Gilgamesh)/Sabitri of Indian puranas.
Sayyiduna—Sav-vidhuna/Sav-bidhu/Sudho-dana
Siddiqah—it is a wonderful term whose meaning has been misunderstood both by Islamic and biblical scholarships. It is as same as ‘Siddha’ that marks Sage ‘Kapil’ who invented ‘scripts’ called ‘Siddha-lipi’. Ptolemy puts hermitage of this Sage in his Map of Jambudvipa at Siddha-pura. He is variously known as : Kophe/Kalapa/Kalpe/Clophe/Sidhe and also identifies Siddhartha who was born in Kapila-vastu. Most of the ancient literature refers to this name in one or the other. Kapila is considered as the Fifth Avatara of Vishnu among 24 Avataras.
Qānitah—Kanitha/Kanti
Tahira—Tihula that marks Tahia also; anciently Badr region neighbourly to Tahia.
Mary in biblical literature is also called a Panagia; meaning of Panagia or Pangiya or Pangiyani should be seen through Pai texts. Hanumana of the epic the Ramayana showed Sri Rama by tearing his chest; Jasoda saw the ‘Creation’ inside the mouth of Sri Krishna, and Arjuna found the ‘Whole Universe’ within Sri Krishna which exactly depicts a similar historical event that Buddha showed his ‘Universal Self’ to his Sakyan and Koliyans kinsmen at the place where Orans was; it identifies a place in the Sidhe or the Country of the Siddha. So Mary’s historic identity is similar to the geographical happenings of other similar events. Here Orans exactly marks the Orontos and Aruna or Aaron.
Scholars say this type of icon as Platytera and Mary as Platytera ton ouranon (Πλατυτέρα τῶν Ουρανῶν). Platytera means ‘Pratyutara’ and similar words are : ‘Pratyek’ or ‘Pratika’; in Pali texts, the term Pratyek Buddha explains the meaning of Platytera. A Pratyeka Buddha is not a Buddha; while the Buddha works for the salvation of the humanity, a Pratyek Buddha works for his own salvation, means Nirvana.
Meaning of Panagia and its use has become so diverse that its modern identity bears no relationship with its ancient origin. It refers to name of a place has been forgotten. Mariology and Marian titles’ scriptural base are not different from their geographical and historical identity. If Mary’s descent from King David is confirmed by biblical events, then David’s kingdom and its involvement in epic events of Homer can be searched along with other kingdoms in earlier periods.
Holy Trinity—Virtue, Concentration and Wisdom(Tri-sula);
Churches of the Virgin Mary are often given particular names which reflect place-names of historical importance. Some examples of such names are given below which scholars wrongly think as Greeks. How the academic and biblical scholars have turned the place and tribe-names into theological names is something to be observed here. This happens because migrants’ memory became unable to hold the geographical aspects of their original homelands. But ancient identity of these peoples lives in the names of their second homes.
Like Indian purana’s one hundred and one thousand names for Goddess Durga, Mary’s different name-forms suggest a similar geographical base for these names. But extracting a meaning out of these names has created vacuum for to trace their origin.
Each and every ancient name first suggests a place-name, and this is their historic identity; both Matthew and Joseph hold geographically traceable titles; Mary as Mother of Jesus and sister of Martha and belonging to house of Bethany when she is klnown as wife of Clopas, it gives a complete geographical scale along with Mary Magdalene and Elizabeth’s historical narratives. Elizabeth was wife of Zecharia, the priest of Abijah who belonged to lineage of Aaron and to the tribe of Levi.
In the study of genealogy of the House of David, House of Judah, and House of Nathan, ‘Christ’ as a ‘title’ has not been considered. House of David identifies itself with House of Danaans at Troy; and Danaans belonged to the Dan community of the Bible as same as Drona of the epic the Mahabharata and Droan(or Dron) of Pali literature who distributed the relics of the Buddha after his death among eight kings of the ‘inhabited world’. So Mary was a daughter of the House of Danaans at Troy. Zechariah should be seen through his place of residence in Jericho or Zariaspa which is as same as Jarapidhi which was then in Mt Hor region of Kasyapapur.
Mary of Clopas—Mary of Krupas or Kubera/Kalapa
Mary of Magdalene—Mary of Mudgal
Name Mary is identical with Maya who was mother of the Buddha of Kapila-vastu; the latter was neighbourly to Troy and Nazareth which identifies again the Nygrodh(name of a tree i.e. Tree of Wisdom). Bible speaks of Magi’s arrival at Bethlehem after the birth of Jesus; and King Herod’s kingdom is linked to Bethlehem’s geographical situation near Jerusalem, Egypt, and Bethany. Herod’s son was Achelaus, and he was ruler of Judaea. So Mary went to Nazareth in Galilee for safety reasons. While Herod is defined with Hade of Homer’s epics, Ache;aus was an Achaeans who were identified with Achilles, to whom Pali authors knew as Ukkala and Okkala, the King of Kapilavastu like Mahanaim, the last of its kings who left throne of Kapilavastu and lived near Galilee and Bethany in Mt Caucasus region at Kaka/Keka.
The interesting part of geographical occurrence relating to the story of Mary and Jesus is preserved in the story of crucifixion itself. Mary was present among at the time of crucifixion along with Mary of Clopas and Mary of Magdalene. Matthew (27:56) adds here ‘the mother of the sons of Zebedee’. She is recognised here as ‘Stabat Mater’ like the exact Sabata Maa of Odiya language which means the ‘Step Mother’. Women present at the site of crucifixion have been termed as ‘Stabat Mater’ means ‘Step Mother’ but hey were not necessarily sister of Mary but certainly ‘Mothers’ of Jerusalem like Krutiak of Kartikeya. It is again very surprising to see Mary cradling the dead body of her son which in biblical language is called ‘pieta’ and it is ‘Preta’ in Odiya language that means ‘the spirit of the dead body’( not ‘pity’). It may be putra or putta which means ‘son’. Etymological similarities of defined scenes of events constitute a single geographical plain for all epics and classical happenings of the world. Mary of Clopas identifies a woman named Mary who belonged to Clopas or clan of the Krupa or the Kuberas(Cyprus); Magdalene similarly marks the Mudgal clan and latter also identifies a place-name in the route of Exodus. Mt Olivet takes its prime position in most of the narratives of the epic events. Eleven Apostles who were residing in this mountain region came to attend the crucifixion event at Bethany from here. Mary who died in 41 A.D. was the first child of Saint Joachim and Saint Anne. Both belonged to the same geographical plain at Shechem.
Greek word heos identifies ‘a woman who dies when her husband is still alive’; she is called ahya-rani means ‘a woman who goes to Ahya(here Yahweh)-world after her death. This is indicative of Mary’s death in presence of her husband. As meaning of heos is not rightly defined by biblical scholars, so also many other words like Hebrew almah, which according to scholars represent Greek parthenos and means ‘virgin’; here parthenos means ‘a woman from Parthian tribe’; Parthians were anciently called Bhratus and they were wearing a sacred thread which is known as ‘bratas’ . This identifies their ancient geographical origin. Arjuna of the Mahabharata was called Partha unlike his other four brothers. Danaans of Troy were also identified as Parthians. Here purity of the clan and its relation to birth of a God in their tribe made their women as a sacred stock in the ‘inhabited world’. The term ‘Mother of God’ should be seen through Maya as Mother of the Buddha which is a historical event. No other mother’s name is found anywhere in world epics who is called with such a sacred ‘title’. The Greek word genomenos or geno-manas(i.e., becoming/Mind of a Zion) and genetos or gene-tos(i.e., that is born, born/Zion of Tos/Tusita) neither they are applied for David’s House or meant to identify Mary but only to the ‘Son of Maya’ who was a Jina/Zion/Gina/Jinn means a ‘Teacher of Profound Wisdom’ or a ‘Teacher of God’ who went to Heaven to teach her ‘Mother’ there.
First Council of Ephesus identifies the region of Euphrates, Phascians, and the Greek Ephorate; it was a place where Temple of Apollo then existed; Origen’s Theotokos like Pali Tripitakas identifies Theri of Takka country or a Bhikshuni of Thebes(Erythraean); Origen’s name is found in Tibetan tantric literature; his connection with Alexandria means he was a Buddhist follower and was connected with Miletus. Name Alexandria is a coined name of Alika and Sundar, two place-names; it is as same as Chinese pilgrims Alsanda.
The earliest prayer for Mary is called Sub Tuum Praesidium(in Latin); it means ‘you are everywhere’ or ‘everything is your reflection’ or ‘your name is in every one’s lips’. She is ‘whole’ of the nature means prakrutirupini or she is nature herself. This hymn is used in the Coptic liturgy; meaning of Coptic has been wrongly followed in every walks of academic as well as in public life; this identifies an ancient monastery in the Caucasus region in the name of a ‘Bird’ called Kapota. Its geographical existence itself marks the Negev of the Bible near Manasseh. This is the reason why this name Coptic is so important in Byzantine, Ambrosian, Armenian, and Roman Rites liturgies; it identifies the whole of the ‘inhabited world’ and does not limited to Christians only or related to Christianity alone.
There is a lot of difference in Latin version of the Sub Tuum Praesidium and its English translation; Latin version of the hymn marks the exact Odiya language and also the Sanskrit form.
Latin text
Sub tuum praesidium
confugimus, Sancta Dei Genetrix. Nostras deprecationes ne despicias in necessitatibus nostris, sed a periculis cunctis libera nos semper, Virgo gloriosa et benedicta English Translation We fly to Thy protection, O Holy Mother of God; Do not despise our petitions in our necessities, but deliver us always from all dangers, O Glorious and Blessed Virgin. Amen. Some of the Latin versions have also incorporated the following verses often attributed to Saint Bernard of Clairvaux to the above translation: Domina nostra, Mediatrix nostra, Advocata nostra (Our Lady, our Mediatrix, Our Advocate). |
tuo Filio nos reconcilia (Reconcile us to your Son)
tuo Filio nos recommenda (Recommend us to your Son)
tuo Filio nos representa (Represent us to your Son)
Epiphanius of Salamis of 4th c B.C. belonged to Salamis, the Silk Town of the ancient world where then stood the Seat of Worship of Maa Didyma in Sidhe region itself. It does not identify 4th c Arabian region; Colllyridianism means certain religious practice of the Koliyans to which Mary of the Sakyas or the Sancta Dei Genetrix identifies; Mary was a Koliyan daughter of Varahi worshippers; she married the Sakyan Joseph of Salamis area. Here reflecting upon the Panarion should be carefully seen along with Panther; Panarion is a combination of two names: Pan and Orion. Story of Phoenix links both the places with the ancient City of Sun near Panchaia ; there is no difference between Joseph and Panther; it identifies one and the same person but different following hace been attributed to him by different authors. Panther means Thera at Pan; and Joseph means a ‘Follower of Kroust’, means ‘Christ Follower; Kroust was the title of a group of ancient followers of Krakao or Kraku-Chandra; Mary was a Bhikshuni means ‘Virgin’; it also means ‘Sister’. What is important here is the meaning attributed to ‘Virgin’; it does not require scholarly debates that creates confusion in the public domain. Maya Devi(Dei) married Sudho-dana but the Buddha was not born out of a ‘human seed’; a white elephant entered into her womb in a dream and the Buddha was born. Thereafter the ‘Mother’ of God dies within a week’s time because the same womb cannot hold another mortal in it. Similarly Mary gave birth to Jesus not out of Joseph’s seeds; there is no question of linking ‘virginity’ as an academic test for ‘Mother of the God’. No doubt Mary was living on begging as all Sisters then did. They had tremendous moral and divine power and were regarded as sparks of divinity and were at par with goddesses at that time. All sods and goddesses should be placed in a single geographical pocket and their origin similarly should be linked within a single divine boundary of sort that cannot be separated and divided by scholarly findings of modern fractured academic ideas.
Ephesus was a cult centre of the ‘inhabited world’ where Temple of Aphrodite also stood. In Indian puranic tradition, Parbati same as Greek Aphrodite is also known as Goddess Maya. This land of Phascians helped Ulysses in reaching his home after his return from Troy, and as such Ephesus was a neighbouring place of Ithica.
Calling Maya as Media-trix explains Media as same as Mede or Median or Medina near Tribeni or ‘Trix’, meeting point of three rivers. It is exactly the same as Mede of Darius that identifies the Kesab Bridge of the Avesta(Caspian Sea).
Name Mary is indicative of her birthplace in Mariam, or Moeris or Mayura or the Peacock country again as same as MahraMihri/Mihir( identifies Al Mihrab with it) whose symbol is ‘Blue’ to which scholars see as lapis lazuli, a blue stone, available then in ancient India. This stone misled scholars; it has the potentiality to identify the geographical situation of the ‘inhabited world’; from this name lapis lazuli, both the Bible and the Quran can trace out their real geographical origin.
According to the Periplus, lapis lazuli is the other name for sapphairos or sapphire; Pliny(XXXVII, 39) says that this stone lapis lazuli was known to Romans as Sapphire and it was an opaque blue stone with golden spots; it came from Media. Chief of Shinar at Babylon then sent this stone and Genabti to Persia for the worship of the Amon(City of Sun).
During the time of the Buddha, kings of the ‘inhabited world’ offered him Alms Bowl made of different precious metals like that of crystals(po-chi), lapis lazuli(lieu-li), cornelian(ma-nao), amber(ku-chi), and ruby(chin-chu); the Buddha refused them; then one stone patra of deep blue colour was offered to him. This shows that this stone’s origin in linked not only to birthplace of Mary but also to the origin of most of the world faiths.
Islamic view of Mary is equally interesting as it knows Mary as ‘sayedetina’; this is a coined name of two place-names: ‘Sayed and Tina’; and both were neighbourly to each other. While Sayed identifies the ancient Sidion, Tina is Tanais of the Bible, and is as same as the royal seat of the Egyptian kings. The Quran mentions name of Mary fifty times, and one Sura in Quran is titled ‘Maryam’; She was daughter of Imran and latter’s name has been derived from Mahanaim of the Bible. His wife Hannah shows her belonging to the royal Han clan.
Nativity of Jesus traces the region of rice in the ‘inhabited world’ in a peculiar way and it identifies the Fertile Crescent on the bank of the river Scamander. Marian feasts mark exactly the feeding of Sramana(Simon) or the Monks during the Rainy Season(varsa vasa). Key Marian prayers identify itself with place-names: what is important here is the term ‘Akathists’; it does not mean ‘standing hymns’; it pinpoints Ekadasi of Indian puranic traditions which means the ‘Eleventh Day’ of both the Lunar and Solar cycles; Akathists Hymn is not devoted only for Mary, it is for the Jina. There are twenty-four Akathists in a year; but those falling in brighter-half of the cycles are treated as most sacred..
