Aachen Cathedral is the first of the forty-five world heritage sites of Germany; it is another wonderful world heritage site whose history has not been treated properly by the academic scholarship. So its impact on other historical sites can be accordingly judged. English translation of the names mostly misled the historical lines of the sight as a result of which this site relates itself only to ‘Emperor Charlemagne´s own Palatine Chapel’; the property of the heritage site constitutes the nucleus of the Cathedral of Aachen, located in western Germany. The construction of the chapel between 793 and 813 symbolises the unification of the West and its spiritual and political revival under the aegis of Charlemagne. Originally inspired by the churches of the eastern part of the Holy Roman Empire, the octagonal core was splendidly enlarged in the Middle Ages. In 814, Charlemagne was buried here’.
Construction of the Palatine Chapel is based on an octagonal basilica and cupola; the three terms: ‘octagonal’, ‘basilica’ and ‘cupola’ collectively indicate certain facts of the ancient world. The seat of worship of the Astarte or the Astalokapala is the ‘Seat of Eight Primordial Gods’ in a circular arrangement with God Yama, King of Death, sitting in the middle; this sitting arrangement of Gods is a real phenomena, and this was adopted by the royal houses of the ancient world to distinguish their seat of administration from others. ‘Cupola’ refers to geographical position of ancient Lanka which like ancient Rome was at the ‘edge of the earth’ or on the ‘west’ at the ‘end of the earth’; similarly, ‘basilica’ which is a term adopted from the Basileon of the Kings of the Bible refers to ancient Baisali; the Kings in the ancient world were defined according to their holding of the different ‘Quarters’ of the ‘inhabited world’. Term ‘Cathedral’ like ‘Catherine’ shows this ‘Quarter-holdings of Kings’. A ‘Four-Quarter King’ is called a Chakravartin or the Catherine means ‘Chaturajika’ . While Palatine marks the ancient Pateli, the seat of Royal House of Kings of Four-Quarters, or a Roman King, Chapel is as same as ‘Abela’ or Kapila. The latter was the place of coronation of many kings in the ancient times.
Aachen here refers to Achaean of Homer’s epics; and they were as same as the Agni or the Yakni or the O-ki-ni people of the ancient world who discovered the ‘Fire’, and their ancient homeland was near the biblical volcano itself. They were also known as ‘Chin’ or the ‘Qin’ people to some other historians. The whole history of the ancient world should be seen as a unified ‘whole’ taking all people as belonging to ‘one’ geographical pocket as shown by Ptolemy in his map of Jambudvipa.
Charlemagne—The name identifies one of the six Royal Houses of the ancient world: it refers to Chaldaeans(Chhadeyas means the ‘Birds’), or Cholas, or the Koliyans, or the Chedis or the Chodas; and magne or magna as usual marks ‘mangala’ means ‘Blessed’ or ‘Sacred’ , also name of a kingdom under Roman Kings at Palatine or Pateli.
Frankish royal estate—it identifies the ‘frank’ tribe.
