Nimba Mount world heritage site in Guinea uniquely confirms its name’s root in the sacred tree Nimba sitting under which Sumedha, became an enlightened one; he was the eleventh of the twenty-four Buddhas who was a native to ancient Sudasana, same as Benares. The religious tradition linked with this name Sumedha is very wide; it was name of a king, name of a place, and also name of a queen and name of a group of followers.
Guinea’s root is in ‘Guna’; Pali sources find Gonna-gama, Gona-ratha, and Gonag-mukha as name of villages where a river in the name of Gona was flowing; it again refers to Guna, an Ajivaka, and a group of followers of Ganadevaputtas who were identified as worshippers of Gana-devata , same as Ganesh. Both Gunamati and Gunaprabha were learned teachers of the ancient world whose Chinese names were Kiu-na-mo-ti and Kiu-na-po-lo-po respectively.
Those people who were worshippers of Gana-deva or Ganesha were considered as Skythians. Here Iberias or the Abhiras were identified as the Skythians same as Skandas who again were the historic Yuei-chi people.
Côte d’Ivoire is identical to Iberians or the ancient Abhiras or the Aberia or Abioi of the Bible. Liberia similarly refers to ancient Abiras or the Abhiras.
