Unesco identifies Valcamonica of Lambardy plain as one of the World Heritage Sites in Italy where prehistoric petroglyphs-more than 140,000 symbols and figures carved in the rocks are noticed; as reported, these symbols mark a period of over 8000 years depicting themes related to agriculture, navigations, war, and magic. Scholars’ findings, and Unesco’s response, meet the chronological study of these configurations in stone that represents a considerable contribution to the fields of prehistory, sociology and ethnology which has ‘outstanding universal value’.
None of our scholars has pointed out yet that name of Italy has been derived from Atalia of Alexander’s India invasion accounts; and history of Lambardy is preserved in Pali texts. Ptolemy also has mentioned on the ancient settlements of Lambardy people who were so called because of their ‘long ears’ or the ‘Lambakarnas’. Valcamonica exactly stands for Alakamand of ancient texts that identifies the place where from the Buddha rained miracles on Jambudvipa; it was a place near Ur or Uruvela of ancient literature. Alcaman also was the name of wife of Rhadamanthys, who was a goddess of the ‘East’.
Present day Italy certainly is the second settlement of ancient migrants who were forced to migrate from their ‘first land’ after the Great Flood’
