Unesco’s defined lines on the history of this heritage is very wide and interesting when it finds Valletta, capital of Malta with successive rules of Phoenicians, Greeks, Carthaginians, Romans, Byzantines, Arabs, and the Order of the Knights of St John. Unesco sees it as ‘one of the most concentrated historic areas in the world’. This heritage site therefore describes the ancient world history in its ‘compact ensemble of 320 monuments that encapsulate every aspect of human history.
Ancient world history exists here in the name of ‘Auberge’ only that finds its use to identify the ancient deified region of the people from where they migrated to this place; public institutions like Auberge d’Aragon, and Auberge de Bavière show the importance of this name Auberge that identifies Mt Alburg, same as Mt Alavi, Alaba, Mt Arbela, Mt Abel, Mt Elebe, Mt Olebe, and Mt Elbe etc. Aragon and Baviere are the names of two royal seat of power near Mt Alburg or Mt Alborg. This was the place where Alexander met Darius in their historic war. Alborg was very close to the Mt Imaos, same as Mt Meru, and it was part of ancient Alexandria, same as Alsanda of King Milinda.
While name of Malta identifies ancient Miletus, its capital Valletta pinpoints the Velluva(or Belluva of Pali texts) near it whose other name was Vellu-vana or Bilwa-vana.
