The property of this heritage site, according to Unesco is ‘composed of three contiguous protected areas comprising the Mana Pools National Park, Sapi Safari Area, Chewore Safari Area’, and with these three sites should be added the other contiguous conservation areas, although not included in the property, ‘the Urungwe Safari Area, Dande Safari Area and the Doma Safari Area to reach at the historic background of the Zimbabwe where ancient migrant from Jambudvipa arrived after a long and strenuous journey to the African continent.
Manna refers to the biblical ‘manna and quail’ that refers to the region of ‘Wilderness of Zin’ between Elim and Mt Sinai which lies to west of the Seir. Manna is a honeydew excretion; Sapi marks the ‘saraph’ or the Serpent Plain or the region of the Naga(means serpent) tribe people of the Negev; Serpent here is the clan-symbol of Aaron and the Levites; Chewore identifies the ‘Cheras’, or the Sea People of the ancient times; Urungwe marks the people of the Gangetic plain, or it may identify the Ur people living on the bank of the river Ganges, or it may also identify the people of Anga country that again marks their geographical region along with this river bank; both Dande and Doma pinpoint the Dan and Edomite people respectively in Seir and Moab region. It is a compact geographical plain where narratives of the Bible find the mentioned places as neighbours to each other.
