Lycidas praises the presence of Bianor’s tomb in Moaris when he sings, ‘Your pleas but linger out my heart’s desire; and all the murmuring breezes sunk to sleep. We are half-way thither, for Bianor’ tomb begins to show: here the hinds are lopping the thick leafage’.
Pali texts speak of goddess Birani who had a palace in Catumma-harajika-world which Nimi saw during his visit to her place; he learnt her story from Matali. It was twelve leagues in height and one in extent; it was nine-storied palace with one thousand rooms. Bianor of Vergil refers to this palace only.
