Biblical Commentators wrongly restored Gk pascha, and Hebr pesah as ‘Passover’; it really stands for ‘paschat’ or ‘paschatap’ means ‘past’, ‘looking back’, ‘remembering’, and also ‘repentance’. Here, Hebr pesah, means ‘Seeing’ or ‘Looking back’.
Every festival is observed with serving of mass-meals; and this particular Nisan festival which is held at the seat of worship of God Issan(Essenese), the other name for Nisan, was the only place of the ‘inhabited world’ where ancestors annually in a fixed time of the year were served with ‘sacred meals’, beginning from the Nisan 15 to 21; relics of the ancestors were also worshipped at this place then; the time is locally known as ‘pitru-paksha’ means ‘time to remember the ancestors from mother’s side’.
It was followed by ta azyma (as restored by the Commentators, ‘the feast of unleavened loaves’); the term ta azym refers to the seat of worship of Yama, or Jama, King of Death, in Jerusalem. Hebr word yam sup marks this seat of worship. So Goddess at Bethany, Issan, and God Yam at Jerusalem are very closely seated one after the other. The meaning of yam sup has been incorrectly made same as the Reed Sea.
The three festivals are offered to these three deities sitting in one region, i.e in and near Jerusalem itself. When anointing was held at Bethany, Nisan was held at Issan and ta azyam at Jerusalem.
